2-week Language Study and Tour in Beijing

Cost: USD 1120 (based on 3 people)
Program: language-cultural and traveling camp in Beijing
Accommodations: Beijing Homestay with bathroom, internet access, TV and air-conditioner etc.
Description: This program combines language studies with sightseeing and cultural activities in Beijing . The kids will gain knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of various Chinese cultures, visit the historical & world culture heritage of China, develop their ability in the Chinese language; they will also take part in some specially designed activities, such as making Chinese dumplings, watching Beijing Opera and acrobatics, getting along with Chinese students etc..

Language cla ss : Offered in the morning from Monday to Friday (9:00 am – 12:00). Lessons focus on speaking, listening, reading and oral practice. Each of the kids will learn around 360 words during the 2 weeks, characters can also be offered depending on requirements. All study materials are age-appropriate and specially conceived for this camp, and included in the program price!

Cultural Class : Includes Martial art, Chinese chess, Calligraphy, Chinese history stories, Chinese traditional games, craft, famous Chinese movie and cartoons, acrobatics show, Chinese cooking etc. All these lessons are arranged in the afternoon.

Sightseeing: Forbidden City, Tian An'men Square, the Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, The ancient city wall of Beijing, Hu Tongs, Wangfujing Walk-Street, Olympic site, Beijing & Qing Hua Universities.

Performance: Beijing Opera, Acrobatics show, famous Chinese movie and cartoons

Cost excludes:
• International airfare
• Visa fee
• Insurance coverage of personal loss, illness or damages incurred during your trip.
• Personal expenses: The items of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, tips to guides or drivers, FAX, telephone, excess baggage charges.

Payment:
The deposit fee is USD 50, which is nonrefundable and required to pay at least three weeks to the arrival date. The rest of the payment is required to pay on the arrival date.
